United Multi-Speciality Hospital (UMH), is a classic example of how a TEAM approach paves the way for Success, where Together Everybody Achieves More. It all began with 17 like minded family physicians coming together with the aim of giving affordable standard of care to their patients, without compromising quality. One thing led to another, leading to starting of Multi-Specialty Hospital.
UMH is a 50 bedded hospital, with a 10 bedded ICU, Casualty and 2 operation theatres and 3 Out patient Department. The ICU is well equipped with four ventilators, 2 defibrillators and multi-para monitors for each bed. It is manned by an Intensivist and residents in rotation at all times. The Nursing staff to patient ration in ICU is 1:2.
The operation theatre is well equipped, with modular theatres. It has all the equipment's to conduct supra-major surgeries with safety. It also has a theatre technician and qualified nursing staff to assist the surgeons. Various complex surgeries, including Thoracic, Joint replacement, Spine, Gynaecology and Complex GI Surgeries have been conducted other than general surgeries with good outcome.
Indoor services: Separate wards for males and females, Twin sharing rooms, Single rooms, deluxe rooms, and a suite. Qualified staff available 24/7, with a Medical Superintendent and a director always present.
Outdoor services: Consultants across various specialities, including Surgeons, Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cardiologists, Spine and Joint replacement Surgeons, Nephrologists, and GI Surgeons.
24/7 Services: UMH offers 24/7 in-house medical store and Ambulance service.
Food Service: A patient-friendly cafeteria serving healthy food for both patients and their relatives.
